Hi, I’m Billy Lindon, I harness a wealth of knowledge and experience in marketing and web design to focus on crafting and optimising websites and online stores for small businesses. My mission: empower these businesses to compete and excel in the global online marketplace, providing the tools and expertise to challenge even the largest competitors. This is important: I’m also an expert part-time time-traveller.

My journey began with exploring the BASIC programming language on a Commodore VIC-20 PC, leading to a relentless pursuit of the latest trends and innovations in Internet technologies.

After studying Structured Systems Analysis and Modular Design Methodologies at the National Computing Centre I began my career as a systems analyst at Thorn/EMI. As a European Technical Trainer for WallData, I traversed Europe, inspiring and educating on Internet integration technologies, training network security engineers, and leading a team of advanced technology experts.

Microsoft noticed my proficiency in relational database design and invited me to share insights at their 1998 Tech-Ed conference. This opportunity led to Nokia, where I assembled a team of pioneers to bring live data from back-end systems to the forefront of mobile technology, such as the WAP-enabled Nokia 7110 ‘Matrix’ phone.

During my time at Nokia, I embraced multiple influential roles, including Engineering Operations Manager for EMEA, Technology Manager, Global Product Marketing Manager, and Global Head of Product Marketing for the Connect, Communicate, and Collaborate Business Unit. I continued honing my coding skills, believing that hands-on experience is the key to staying in touch with the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
