The Brief

Drive more traffic to the online shop and improve conversion rates with more online sales.

The Solution

Website: Anthony & Brown is an online shopping brand, but prospective customers were first directed to a WordPress site before being passed to a Shopify store when they hit the ‘Shop’ button. In order to simplify the experience and reduce confusion for shoppers we migrated the anthonyandbrown.co.uk domain to Shopify and set the primary landing page to the front page of the Shopify store. We provided Anthony and Brown with a choice of several Shopify designs that would replace the vanilla design, improve the shopping experience for potential customers and drive an increase in conversions/sales.

Shopify Optimisation/SEO: We analysed the content from an SEO perspective and made changes to product names, positioning, content, links, tags and images.

The limited set of images were cropped, edited and ordered to provide maximum impact and detail, and compressed with lossless compression to ensure maximum possible loading speed without the loss of quality. Page load times are an important ranking factor in Google search results.

We changed product names to more closely match the brand and customer expectations, serving to reduce bounce rates and improve conversions. We improved the content with more insightful descriptions and additional information. We added metadata and listed the product database with Google Merchant Center to ensure the products would rank well in Google Shopping Results.

Social Media Marketing: We created marketing messages with images sized and optimised for Facebook and Twitter and targeted fashion and menswear bloggers. Anthony&Brown posts are now regularly retweeted by bloggers such as MenStyleFashion and Gentlemen’s Practice to their thousands of followers.
